My kids hates raisins, but not in these cookies. I couldn’t stop my kids from eating them. They are soft, chewy and delicious.
Ingredients
- • 1/2 cup (1 stick) DF Margarine
- • 2/3 cup brown sugar
- • 2/3 cup sugar
- • 1/2 cup applesauce
- • 2 tsp baking powder
- • 1 tsp baking soda
- • 1 tsp cinnamon
- • 1/2 tsp salt
- • 3 cups of oats
- • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- • 1 cup raisins
- • 2 tsp vanilla
- • 1 tbsp vinegar
- • Substitute 1 1/4 cup of Gluten Free All Purpose Flour (tested with Bob Redmill) +1/2 tsp Xantham Gum for 1 1/4 all purpose flour
- • Make sure the Oats are Gluten Free

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Place the raisins in a bowl of water and set aside
- Combine the DF margarine with the sugars
- Add applesauce, vanilla, and vinegar to the mixture
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and oats
- Add to the sugar mixture and mix until a dough forms
- Drain the raisins and add to the dough
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
